About This Blog:

The primary purpose of this blog is to showcase the best of my aviation photography. As such, you will find links to my main aviation gallery on Facebook containing photos from aircraft spotting, some kind of aviation event such as air shows and fly-in events, as well as aviation museums. I also critique my flights on commercial airlines and the services they provide. Occassionally, you'll find personally written, independent articles based on news and current events involving aviation. And of course, I'll put up links to official and unofficial aviation-related websites when I find them. And when time permits, I'll talk and discuss about anything involving aviation. But most importantly, this is my way to document my journey into the aviation industry!

Gallery Update: Some Quick Shots from the Salem Ramp

Well, it's another frustrating start to another new month for me. After several delays and setbacks, my commercial checkride, which was supposed to take place today had to get pushed back (again!) due to weather (again!). Believe me, this is getting really old! Since I was at the airport ready to go at a moments notice, I decided to fly for myself anyways. Before doing so though, I got some quick ramp shots in, including a worthwhile General Aviation classic that happened to be parked near where my club's hangars were located. I'll let the photos speak for themselves:

Ryan Navion (N4382K) parked on the ramp.

Locally based here in Salem, I photographed this General Aviation classic five years ago.

The Navion is definitely one of my "bucket list" airplanes!
