About This Blog:

The primary purpose of this blog is to showcase the best of my aviation photography. As such, you will find links to my main aviation gallery on Facebook containing photos from aircraft spotting, some kind of aviation event such as air shows and fly-in events, as well as aviation museums. I also critique my flights on commercial airlines and the services they provide. Occassionally, you'll find personally written, independent articles based on news and current events involving aviation. And of course, I'll put up links to official and unofficial aviation-related websites when I find them. And when time permits, I'll talk and discuss about anything involving aviation. But most importantly, this is my way to document my journey into the aviation industry!

Gallery Update: Unique Sights from Salem

Well, I had plans to fly down south to get a few spotting opportunities in, but an inversion layer that covered much of the southern Willamette Valley forced me to stay local as far as flying was concerned. After getting back from flying, I stuck around and got a few ramp shots in, including two aircraft that caught my eye.

Preview:

Piper PA-22-135 Tri-Pacer (N3501A) parked on the ramp. Arrived over a week ago from Bremerton, Washington.

Valley Flyers Cessna 182M Skylane (N70574) parked on the ramp. I should be getting my high-performance endorsement in this plane pretty soon!

Embraer EMB-505 Phenom 300 (N660RB) parked on the ramp. Arrived earlier this afternoon from San Jose as JPL660.

Cessna 680A Citation Latitude (N865CA) parked on the ramp.

North American T-28C Trojan (N128JC) parked on the ramp. Arrived earlier this afternoon from Brookings on the Oregon coast. I saw this warbird a few times last summer!
