About This Blog:

The primary purpose of this blog is to showcase the best of my aviation photography. As such, you will find links to my main aviation gallery on Facebook containing photos from aircraft spotting, some kind of aviation event such as air shows and fly-in events, as well as aviation museums. I also critique my flights on commercial airlines and the services they provide. Occassionally, you'll find personally written, independent articles based on news and current events involving aviation. And of course, I'll put up links to official and unofficial aviation-related websites when I find them. And when time permits, I'll talk and discuss about anything involving aviation. But most importantly, this is my way to document my journey into the aviation industry!

Gallery Update: T-28 Trojan Sighting in Salem

Before going up for a quick cross-country flight, I had the chance to see a North American T-28 Trojan in action. I've seen this particular T-28 several times already before, but today was the day I finally had a chance to photograph it in action, and I believe this was my first time seeing a T-28 in flight. I'll let the photos speak for themselves.

Salem (SLE)

Preview:

North American T-28C Trojan (N128JC) taxiing for departure to Brookings. Arrived earlier this morning from Aurora.

N128JC departing on 34 for Brookings. Just saw this plane parked at Salem earlier this year, but also several times during air show season last year.

The T-28 would definitely be a warbird I'd like a ride in!
