About This Blog:

The primary purpose of this blog is to showcase the best of my aviation photography. As such, you will find links to my main aviation gallery on Facebook containing photos from aircraft spotting, some kind of aviation event such as air shows and fly-in events, as well as aviation museums. I also critique my flights on commercial airlines and the services they provide. Occassionally, you'll find personally written, independent articles based on news and current events involving aviation. And of course, I'll put up links to official and unofficial aviation-related websites when I find them. And when time permits, I'll talk and discuss about anything involving aviation. But most importantly, this is my way to document my journey into the aviation industry!

Gallery Update: Portland In Its Element

It is so nice to have friends and loved ones home over the holidays. It's also nice when you get to go pick them up from the airport and squeeze in a little planespotting time before that! Here is my sixth photo album from spotting at Portland International Airport on a rainy day; just what Oregon is known for!

Portland (PDX) 6

And the preview:

Two of a kind pass by each other; Alaska Airlines/Horizon Air De Havilland Canada DHC-8-401Q Dash 8 Q400 (N417QX taxiing for departure and N440QX in Oregon State Beavers theme colours having just arrived). Portland International Airport (PDX); Portland, Oregon.

Two F-15C Eagles of the 142nd Fighter Wings Redhawks of the Oregon Air National Guard taxiing back to the flight ramp. Portland Air National Guard Base (PDX); Portland, Oregon

Here's to a safe and happy holidays to you all!
