About This Blog:

The primary purpose of this blog is to showcase the best of my aviation photography. As such, you will find links to my main aviation gallery on Facebook containing photos from aircraft spotting, some kind of aviation event such as air shows and fly-in events, as well as aviation museums. I also critique my flights on commercial airlines and the services they provide. Occassionally, you'll find personally written, independent articles based on news and current events involving aviation. And of course, I'll put up links to official and unofficial aviation-related websites when I find them. And when time permits, I'll talk and discuss about anything involving aviation. But most importantly, this is my way to document my journey into the aviation industry!

Flight Critique: United Airlines Flight 722 (PDX-ORD)

NOTE: Today was the first time I flew commercial aviation in a little over 4 years. This was also the first time I flew on United Airlines in 10 years. The last airlines I flew with was American Airlines and Air Canada.

Today's Flight Critique

1.) Aircraft: Boeing 757

2.) Window seat

3.) First Class thanks to Employee Companion Pass system.

4.) In-flight service was one of the best in a long time.

5.) Weather out of PDX was foggy until take-off and we were above all the fog.

6.) Weather coming into ORD was snowy conditions. Landing was normal.

7.) In-flight movie was so-so.

8.) Smooth flight (3.5 hours).

9.) Breakfast meal served. Food was decent.

10.) Overall, one of the best flights in a long time.
