About This Blog:

The primary purpose of this blog is to showcase the best of my aviation photography. As such, you will find links to my main aviation gallery on Facebook containing photos from aircraft spotting, some kind of aviation event such as air shows and fly-in events, as well as aviation museums. I also critique my flights on commercial airlines and the services they provide. Occassionally, you'll find personally written, independent articles based on news and current events involving aviation. And of course, I'll put up links to official and unofficial aviation-related websites when I find them. And when time permits, I'll talk and discuss about anything involving aviation. But most importantly, this is my way to document my journey into the aviation industry!

Gallery Update: Hangar Flying at Salem

I decided to go flying today, but before doing so, I decided to do some "hangar flying" and take some pictures; namely, the entire fleet of the Valley Flyers flight club. Considering that I haven't done much photography lately and I really haven't featured the club fleet very prominently, any photography project sounds great right about now. I will definitely want to get shots of the club planes when they're out and about, but all in due time.

Salem (SLE) 35

Preview:

Cessna 182M Skylane (N70574). I'm looking to get my high-performance endorsement in this plane in the future!

Cessna 172M Skyhawk II (N12382). I did my club checkout flight in this plane.

Cessna 172N Skyhawk II (N5174E), the plane my uncle sold to the club almost a year ago.

Piper PA-28-140 Cherokee Cruiser (N1636H). I've been flying this plane more frequently (due to lower rental rates!) and planning on finishing my commercial training with this bird!

Cessna 172M Skyhawk II (N515ED). Currently the only plane in the fleet with a glass cockpit setup utilizing a Garmin G500.
