About This Blog:

The primary purpose of this blog is to showcase the best of my aviation photography. As such, you will find links to my main aviation gallery on Facebook containing photos from aircraft spotting, some kind of aviation event such as air shows and fly-in events, as well as aviation museums. I also critique my flights on commercial airlines and the services they provide. Occassionally, you'll find personally written, independent articles based on news and current events involving aviation. And of course, I'll put up links to official and unofficial aviation-related websites when I find them. And when time permits, I'll talk and discuss about anything involving aviation. But most importantly, this is my way to document my journey into the aviation industry!

Gallery Update: Chasing a Swift Air 737-400 in Idaho Falls

I noticed on FlightAware that a Swift Air Boeing 737-400 was inbound to Idaho Falls from Wendover. After my last successful spotting trip there, I decided to chase this rare airliner down. And like the last time I spotted at Idaho Falls, I went to my new spotting location on the northeast end of the airport.

My main objective for this spotting trip, Swift Air Boeing 737-400 operating as SWQ9813 flying overhead. This was a rather unusual arrival procedure.

Swift Air Boeing 737-4B7 (N440US) on short final for 20 arriving from Wendover as SWQ9813 on a casino charter. Rare and unusual visitor for Idaho Falls!

I photographed this very airframe a little over a month ago at Wendover but they weren't my greatest shots. I'm grateful to get a much clearer shot of this 737 Classic! Formerly with US Airways.
