About This Blog:

The primary purpose of this blog is to showcase the best of my aviation photography. As such, you will find links to my main aviation gallery on Facebook containing photos from aircraft spotting, some kind of aviation event such as air shows and fly-in events, as well as aviation museums. I also critique my flights on commercial airlines and the services they provide. Occassionally, you'll find personally written, independent articles based on news and current events involving aviation. And of course, I'll put up links to official and unofficial aviation-related websites when I find them. And when time permits, I'll talk and discuss about anything involving aviation. But most importantly, this is my way to document my journey into the aviation industry!

Gallery Update: Road Trip Stop at Hood River

I am finally back home with my family in Oregon! I made what's hopefully the last long trip I'll make for the rest of the year, getting an early start out of Idaho and making my way through Oregon. I planned it this way so I can have some time to check out the Antique Aeroplane & Automobile Museum (WAAAM) in Hood River, Oregon. Like when I went to Nampa just a few months back, I drove through Hood River many times on past road trips and I figured since I was travelling by myself, it was about time to check the place out. I will admit, after volunteering at the Legacy Flight Museum for the past seven months, it's actually quite nice to be able to check out another museum. As the name of this museum implies, this place has older, more antiquated wood and fabric aircraft as well as retro automobiles so  it's a little different from the usual museums one might be used to. Here's the link:

Gallery Update: One Last Go at the Museum

I made this my last day volunteering at the Legacy Flight Museum before I head home from school. So I made one final round for photos. I will miss being with great people and being around what's been the greatest sources of inspiration while at school, but I will be back next January. Here are the links:

Gallery Update: Flight of the Texan, among other things...

Another day at the museum, another day with opportunities to snap some photos. In this case, the museum's T-6 Texan was taken up for a paying customer's joy ride so it was a good excuse to snap some photos, among other things spotted during airport activity today. Here's the link:

Gallery Update: 4th of July Fly-Overs and Drones! (100th Post!)

Happy American Independence Day to you all! Given that this is the 100th post for this blog, I figured the 4th July would be appropriate for this occasion. I'm with relatives in Ashton, ID again this year for the 4th and if you've been following this blog for a while, you might have guessed there were P-51 fly-overs for the Ashton 4th of July parade. Well, once again the off-airport album has been updated:

Now, I didn't snap many photos but I got some good shots:

Someone had a camera-mounted remote-control drone flying around to catch aerial coverage of the parade.
